On 19 December 2000 in the hall of Baku Music Academy will be the presentation of the first volume of book "The Organ Music of Azerbaijan Composers" edited by organist Rena Ismailova and Khanlar Novruzov realized Computer Compositions in the special programme "Sibelius 7" at the Society of Contemporary Music - "Yeni Musigi".
Baku Arts and Culture Information Center organize this presentation, where Rena Ismailova will perform the works from this book.

 The theater festival "Festival Of Festivals", which has been organized by the Union of Theatre Artists of Azerbaijan was hold in Baku from 15 up to 30 November 2000.
The Azerbaijan State Academic Theatre of Drama, The Azerbaijan State Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet, Sumgait State Musical - Drama Theatre named after Arablinsky, The Azerbaijan State Puppet Theatre named after Abdulla Shaig, The Azerbaijan State Theatre "Yug", The Azerbaijan State Theatre of Pantomime "Deli Yiginjagy", The Baku Chamber Theatre, The Shusha State Musical - Drama Theatre was participated in this festival.

The annual conference of the European Association of Music Academies and Conservatories were hold at Vicenza, Italy. In this meeting the representative of Azerbaijan was the rector of Baku Music Academy, Honored Artist of Azerbaijan, Professor Farkhad Badalbeyli. The problems of education and joint activities were discussed in the conference. As a result, it is planned to do closely partnership, exchange of students between the Baku Music Academy and the Conservatory of South-Korea, the Conservatory at Saraevo, Bosnia-Hersogovinia.

The Ensemble of Contemporary Music SoNoR (Azerbaijan) took part at the festival November Music' 2000 from 16 up to 20 November that was at three country: German (Essen) - Holland (s'Hertogenbosch) - Belgium (Gent).
There have been participated also, such music collectives and musicians as Ensemble Multifoon (Holland), duet Fushitsusha (Japan), Spectra Ensemble (Belgium), Machine for Making Sense (Austria), DAVID DRAM (USA), etc.
At the festival the Ensemble SoNoR performed the works of Alexander Wagendristel, Ali Ali-zadeh, Fredric Osterling, Endrew Toovey, Faraj Garaev, Roland Freisitzer, Francois Sarhan, Elmir Mirzoev .
The works that performed by the Ensemble were specially composed for the festival.
