Welcome to the BACIC's website

BACIC is an information, communication and education service centre spreading arts and culture news items among artists, arts and cultural organizations, and students in Azerbaijan. The other kind of activity of this centre is being the link for Azerbaijan and foreigners, which facilitates the exchange of information on arts between Azerbaijan and other countries.
Using arts and culture to cross borders and break through the barriers of language, and providing information and other services that facilitate cultural exchange, BACIC will be a bridge between countries and cultures.
On an ongoing basis, BACIC will collect and make available background information, such as books, audio and videotapes, CDs, CD ROMs, art magazines and catalogues, access to the Internet.

BACIC will also:

Maintain a database of Azerbaijani institutions and organizations with their contact information.
Searching the information through the Internet by the special orders.
Spreading information about different programs and opportunities among artists and students.
Develop and maintain a web-site on Azerbaijani arts and culture, art institutions, artists and up coming projects and regularly update them.
Establish well-organized, user friendly, open and secure resource library.
Organize round table discussions on the issues related to development of contemporary arts and culture.
Organize public presentations of new artistic, cultural and research projects, events and initiatives.

BACIC is a part of Baku Education Information Centre.

BACIC is a project of the Open Society Institute Assistant Foundation - Azerbaijan.

BACIC is open on:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
From 10:00 A.M. to 6 P.M.
